About the house

The property consists of the main building with two floors and an attic, a side building for servants, a farm building and a storehouse (called "telthuset", directly translated to "the tent house") from 1729. Today, Kongsvinger Art Society have their galleries on the ground floor. Aamodtgårdens' museum exhibition is Rittmester Harald Aamodt and his wife Nina's preserved 1920s apartment, which is only open for guided tours.
