How to find us

• Follow E6 north to Kløfta (ca. 25 km)
• Take the E16 road towards Kongsvinger (ca. 65 km)
• In Kongsvinger, take the third exit in the second roundabout and onto the street Glommengata.
• Take the second exit to the left, out onto the street Storgata and the bridge Kongsvinger Bru.
• Take left by the Church, and drive up the street Jonas Liesgate until you reach a sign reading "Kongsvinger Museum".
  
• Take right by the large, yellow house at the top of the hill. You will find the car park right in front of you, and the museum in the large red brick house.

All trains between Oslo and Stockholm/Arvika/Karlstad stop in Kongsvinger. There are also local train services between Oslo and Kongsvinger. From Kongsvinger Station, you can take bus number B2 to the stop Kirketorget, and there is a five minute walk from the bus stop. If you wish to walk from the Station, it would take you approximately thirty minutes.

• Follow E6 south for approximately 10 km, until you reach the exit marked "Stange".
• Leave the main road, and take road Rv24 towards Kongsvinger, until you reach Skarnes.
• Take left onto E16, and follow this road to Kongsvinger.
• In Kongsvinger, take the third exit in the second roundabout and onto the street Glommengata.
• Take the second exit to the left, out onto the street Storgata and the bridge Kongsvinger Bru.
• Take left by the Church, and drive up the street Jonas Liesgate until you reach a sign reading "Kongsvinger Museum".

• Follow Rv2 south towards Kongsvinger.
• Continue straight ahead when Rv2 becomes E16.
• Take right in the first roundabout and follow E16.
• Take right in the next roundabout, and cross the bridge Nybrua.
• Take right and follow the street Brugata until you reach the traffic lights.
• Take left, and drive up the street Storgata.
• Take left by the Church and drive up the street Jonas Liesgate until you reach a sign reading "Kongsvinger Museum".
• Take right by the large, yellow house at the top of the hill. You will find the car park right in front of you, and the museum in the large, red brick house.
